How to Measure Face Fit Zebra Blinds without Architraves (No Architraves).
Important steps to follow when measuring Face Fit Blinds without architraves
Print out Blinds Downunder measuring form or download Blinds Downunder measuring form, which is editable for computer or devices, from our website to document blind measurements and details.
Use a metal tape measure. Make sure the tape measure is taught when taking measurements.
Always write down the width measurement first and then the drop measurement second on all Zebra Blinds. Add 160mm extra on the actual width measurement. This is to allow for potential bracket fixing into timber or steel studs. (*Note there is no guarantee of fixings for blinds with this scenario. Check for fixings prior to ordering). The extra width also assists with light bleed down the sides of your Zebra Blinds. You may wish to input a smaller or larger width based on your personal preference. The drop measurement requires a minimum 100mm to allow for the C70 cassette pelmet size (80mm) above window and approximately 20mm below the sill. Each Zebra stripe is a different size, in an open position the bottom of the Zebra Blind is clear view from outside to inside of room. by adding additional to your drop the gap size will be reduced in open position. If you like the open stripe feature we recommend to go the smaller measurement. Example; add only 100mm overall to the drop.
Only write measurements down in millimetres.
Write down the preferred motor side on each individual Zebra Blind.
Document the largest measurement of three spot measurements for width and drop.
Always double check measurements with the measurements you have written down.
Watch for protruding door/window hardware that might interfere with the Zebra Blind operation.
